Green + Pink

1. Jade Dress Forever 21
2. Black Polka Dot Heels Forever 21
3. Pink Knitted Headband Forever 21
4. Black Bib Necklace Forever 21
5 Gold Cutout Ring Forever 21
6. Secret Story Essie Polish Target

This whole outfit is perfect for Spring! It has green and pink in it and some cute polka dot heel!
Over the past month, I've been seeing more girls wearing these cute headbands like the pink one and I got two and love them! Their comfy and looks so cute! Since my hair is so long their great for holding my hear back and keeping fly always down when I wear my hair up.

I love this dress and how it's perfect for Spring! I'm also loving the cute Secret Story Essie polish! I'm all over nail polishes right now, especially since it's getting cooler and I can actually show my toes.

What's your favorite nail polish? Have a great Maundy Thursday!

Great I Am

Lately I have started listening to this group called New Life Worship. One of their songs that I absolutely love right now is called Great I Am. This song has been really inspirational to me these past few weeks and a great reminder that God's in control. I stress over everything, so this song is perfect for me and helps me to stop trying to be in control of everything! Here's the song. Just sit back, relax and listen to the promise that God is in control of your life and that he's the Great I Am.

p.s. I'll probably be singing this song all week. God is the Great I Am!

I'm so thankful that I found this song and hope you enjoy and that it touches your heart. Praying that God blesses you in a special way today!

Boyfriend Jeans Love

Top: Gift / Cardigan: Target / Boyfriend Jeans: Forever 21 / Shoes Journey / Hair Ties

I just bought some boyfriend jeans and put some patches on them because there were holes in them up pretty high. I made a post last week about how to make DIY Jean Patches to make jeans last longer.

Anyway, I was experimenting with my boyfriend jeans and decided to wear them with a loose top that's is perfect for Spring and a rust colored cardigan and some Converse. The outfit turned out great and was perfect for a day filled with shopping with my best friend.

I would love to hear how you style your boyfriend jeans!

My Curly Hair

My hair is naturally wave and has curls, but if I brush my hair it turns into a frizz bomb. For real! Since my hair is already curly, I rarely curl it, but  when I do, this is how I curl my hair.

Products Needed:
  • Heat Protectant
  • Curling Iron (I used a 2" curling iron by Revlon)
  • Hair brush, comb and teasing brush
  • Hair clips
  • Hair spray

1. I put my hair half up and spray it with heat protectant (I use Tresemme heat protectant). Then I use my 2" Revlon curling iron at the highest setting 400 degrees and I curl away from my face. When I reach the middle of my head, I switch to the other side of my head and curl away from my face.

2. Then I section my hair again into two section, doing the front section and then the back curling away from my face.

3. After I've curling all of my hair, I let my curls cool, and then run my fingers through my hair to separate the curls.

4. Then I tease if necessary, and spray my curls with hair spray.

5. And them, I'm finished! Here's the finished product!

DIY Patched Jeans

I got my first pair of boyfriend jeans for my birthday! The only problem with them, is that they had a couple of intentional holes high up on the thigh. I want my jeans to last a while and I don't like skin that high showing, so I decided I would get some patches and cover the holes up. I wanted to get floral patterns to place on the hole, but I realized that would limit what I could wear my jeans with, so I just decided to use tan patches. Here's how I fixed up my boyfriend jeans!

The materials need for DIY:
  • Jeans
  • Patches (I got mine at Wal-Mart)
  • Scissors to cut out the patches to the correct size.
  • An iron and ironing board

1. Wash your jeans so they're clean when you place the patch on.

2. Measure how big you need your patch to be and cut it out unless the patches are already the correct size.

3. Warm the section where you are placing the patch and then lay the patch down and hold the iron on the patch for 30 seconds, or until the patch is secure.

4. Tada, your finished and you have jeans that will last longer and look cuter!

H54F

Here are the five highs of my week.

1. I am in the middle of the 4th book of a series by Judith Miller and am so excited to find out the end! It's a series set before, during, and after World War II, and is through the eyes of three sisters.

2. I got my first snow cone of 2013! Me and my sister shared a snow cone called margarita. It tastes like lemon and limes, and is so good!

3. I got a new dress! It's a cute teal color and is perfect for Spring!

4. Yesterday I got some patches to put underneath some new jeans I got that have hole in them. The jeans are so cute, but I want them to last, and putting a patch underneath the holes will make it last longer.

5. And the last high of my week, are these awesome shoes! I got them from Shop The Docks. They are so cute, and are perfect for the beach and just chilling, like I did today.

Hope you had a great week too!

So glad you stopped by the Love Caroline Blog, and would love to learn more about you! Don't forget to leave a comment! I love hearing from you! Don't forget to follow me on Blog Lovin!

Coral + Peacock

Coral Flats Forever 21
Rhinestoned Pearl Necklace Forever 21
Polka Dot Sweater Forever 21
Peacock Pants Target
Pearl Headband Forever 21
Orange It's Obvious Essie Polish

Winter is basically over now, but there is still cold weather. My remedy to the situation is to wear cute colored jeans and a polka dot sweater like this one from Forever 21. I added some color by having coral flats and nail polish! I love this outfit, and think it's a great transition outfit from Winter to Spring.

What do you think? Do like this outfit?

Also, there has been lots of hysterics about the fact that Google is ending Google Reader. So don't forget to follow my on Blog Lovin' or via email! You can find both of these things on my side bar, or click this button and it will take you to my blog. Hope to see you in Blog Lovin' world!

Sweets and Love

Today, since it's the start of Spring Break, I cleaned. and decided to make some dishes in the kitchen. My sister I made up our own recipe, and made banana bread and muffins. It was so fun and easy, and we both loved licking the batter. Everything's better with sweets, right?

After we made banana bread and muffins, we decided, why not make some dessert for tonight, so we opted to make Mocha Souffle. I've never made a souffle before, so this was a pretty exciting/interesting dish. In the end, it turned out great, and we ate it with coffee and vanilla ice cream.

Have you ever made a souffle, and wants your favorite recipe?

I will post the recipes tomorrow, but until then, enjoy the picture overload!

Thanks so much for visiting Love Caroline Blog! I love all of your comments and would love to talk with you! Have a great Monday!
