I got this dress from my grandma along time ago, but have never worn it until this month, because it had one of those magnetic tags still stuck to it that the cashier is supposed to take off before you leave the store. I've seriously let it sit in my closet for at least a year and I finally decided about last month to use a hammer and take the tag off my self and it worked! I was worried I would make a hole in it, but it held up pretty good under my crazy hammer session.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who has waited a long time to wear clothes because of that magnetic tag thingy!?!
Well, that is my fun fact of the day, that you can remove magnetic clothing tags with a hammer.
I would love to hear some of your crazy clothing stories!

So cute! I love the shoes.
ReplyDeleteLooks great on you.
ReplyDeleteYou should have taken the dress back when you first noticed the tag.... U are lucky it wasnt one that had die in it. Some do so that when theives steal the item and take off the tag it ruins the outfit.
How funny about the tag! Thats happened to me a few times and is such a pain! Glad you finally got to wear it. Visiting from the Wardrobe Wednesday link up today, hope you have a great day!

OH man, I didn't know it was even possible to take those off yourself. I've taken something back to the store that still had the tag on it before, but I've never tried to take it off myself!
